Hi, Its Monday, Memorial Day!!!!! May 26

Well it is 4am and I thought I would start the thread. My darling keyboard is working for a change, life is good!!!!! I got a GPS system and that bugger is a b????tch to learn!!!!! The only thing it doesnt do is cook for you and back up the car for you haha..... It is a Magellin. I forgot it was the holiday today or I would have taken it off. I would have gone to North Carolina for the weekend, But I wasnt paying attention to the  calender. I am going on June 6th though. I dont know if I am going to drive or fly. Ill know on Friday. Anyway I am working today. I dont expect to be be busy so Ill probably leave early to keep the payroll down. Hope everyone is out and about doing what you do best. Talk on girls and guys!!!!! Carla

I, too, have to work today. Well, I didn't have to but I volunteered. The money is good, especially as Monday is not a regular work day for me, so it's all on overtime, yet I get to bank the actual holiday to take in the future on a day I need.  I don't expect to be busy either as the weather is so nice (I'm in customer service and who is going to call us when they're having a family day??). Have a good one everyone.

woke up about an hour ago to thunder and litning...roxie got a tad wet but she did her duty! i'm going back to bed- sore as can be- i tilled a flower garden last nite-have never tilled before-OMG...my arms shook for hours!!! now i am just sore!! and with the downpour of the last hour i am sure not going out to plant this a.m. !!! we've been eating strawberries in the evenings and the back of my neck itches-allergies!!!! maybe i'll stop by later...have a great day...hugs and prayers to you......

Margo i too have been gathering Strawberries daily and eating them every day. Thank God im not allergic to them i love them so much. My patch is doing really well this year. So for we have had enough to give Joe and I a serving each for about 7 days already now. and they are still producing. I guess i should have put some in the freezer but they are so good fresh that they never make it to the freezer.  It stormed really bad here yesterday afternoon.Got an inch of rain in about 30 minutes. We were under tornado watches but we never had one here.  We pulled up 2 rooms of carpet in the rental house yesterday, and Marti yes we did use masks. thanks for the warnings. We still have 3 more rooms to go. or rather 4 rooms they even have carpet in the laundry room. it is pretty yucky under the ones we pulled up so far. The home was lived in by a little ole man that wasnt the cleanest in the world when he was healthy and the last 3 years he lived there he was very sick.  As you can see we are using the week end to do more work, nothing exciting planned other than that. 

Allergies are yucky!  Can you take anything for relief? The weather man says that your rain is headed our way.  Just in time for our barbecue. Wonderful

Morning - I was up ealier and tried to start but got a message about checking my cookies. I have no clue how to fix computer cookies so had to wait for Tom to get up.  I'm working today too. Then we are going to Mary's for a barbecue. Timing is going to be close so they will have to wait for me to get there. Oh yay, I get to hear the X complain about Melanie again. He's better steer clear of me ... or else! For the second time in 24 years Tom took me to the local farmer's market. He moaned, groaned and complained about the place. It will be another 24 years before I go with him!  It is more local artists vending their wares than produce. so I kind of get his point. Still, it rather pi$$ed me off to be rushed past the displays of pottery, jewelery and crafts. He tried but it ended up being more TRYING, if you get my point. Time to get ready for work and find an attitude adjustment. I'm a grump today!!!  Annette

Now, Annette, I don't have one of 'those' at home and memory doesn't serve me very well, but don't 'those' keep a really good attitude for farmer's markets and crafty things if they 1) have sunshine 2) a warm bed; 3) food in their tummy; 4) stay regular; 5) plenty of beer; 6) that other stuff I really don't remember?? Is he missing any of the six?.... Pardon the pun...:) Janet
